We were sitting at lunch. Thinking about next year. We were all going to different schools. It would be pretty sad
to never see each other again. So we decided to make a co-owned blog. This way we wouldn't completley forget each
other. We hope this lasts untill we graduate, maybe longer. Hopefully longer.
We are all PRISM students or alumni. PRISM is a gifted program with too much homework and tests. Even though we
are "gifted children", we rarely act like it. It's hard to spend this much time together without loosing at least a large
chunk of one's sanity.

Firts day of summer stretch today. I don't really know anyone in my class, but marj and I ride the bus together. I'm taking essay writing 2. It's not that bad though. Well, i can buy myself little gummy friends and then eat them at lunch. We get homework though. Not as much as the math though. It was like a million degrees hot outside. Bleh. I wish I was back in alaska. I had soccer practice. We had to run. Back. and forth. and back. and forth. it was so horrible, evil, bleh-y, yeah. I was all dead and my face was red. It's supposed to be cooller tommorow. It better be.
Well, there's the slide show of my cruise to Alaska. I don't want weird people looking at it, so if you know me- email me and ask for the password. The gray bar is the loading, so wait until it finishes before you press play.
We had a good time. They had an unlimited ice cream bar and lots of yummy ice cream. I finally got over my fear of pistachio ice cream (it's green... but still really good).
So we went to the beach this weekend. It was great. I sat around in the sand and watched the waves go for a while. We went to a place with go-karts and bumper cars and I got to ram a bunch of people with my go-kart. Then we sat in the hotel room and watched TV and went swimming. We had dinner at a seafood place. The next day I woke up around 10am in the morning. I had a muffin for breakfast. Then I rented an ATV and got to drive around for a while *pokes pic*. After that, we rented mopeds and my dad drove us around the beach. I kinda wanted to drive, but it required a driver's license. There were horses too, but they were too slow. Also, horses go poop everywhere and car-ish things don't.
Note to Kat: I'm almost done with the drawings, I have them all inked and I'm coloring them today.
Autumn hills draw in the last sunlight, birds in flight follow companions ahead. The glittering azure is often quite clear, and nowhere is evening's haze to be found.
Yeah, poor Mary has the flu. Maybe all that icecream wasn't good for me. My nose is all red and I look like a clown. It hurts to smile (not that I ever do) and stuff my mouth full of food (). I have to blow my nose like once every two minutes and my room is overflowing with used tissues. I missed school on Mon. and Tues. but I went today so I wouldn't miss too much work.
On the days that I stayed home, I mainly sat around, ate stuff, and watched TV. Nothing good is on so I had to watch the news. It was full of depressing stuff about 666, which made me laugh. Some website let people place bets on the apocalypse and they would get paid a million dollars if it did happen. They would have some trouble getting the money though. Once I lost the TV remote, and I had to push buttons with my finger on the TV it self. It only has a up and down button so I had to press it like 37 times to go from channel 13 to 50. Poor fingers. Then I found it under the couch.
I was making myself chicken soup and I poured boiling water on my hand on Monay. I still have a large red burn that hurts when you touch it on my hand. It's really icky.
Also, since I had all this free time, I thought of a good way to deal with illegal immigrants without harming the economy. Since most of the illegal people are getting paid below minimum wage, it would hurt the economy if they were deported because the price of strawberries, oranges, and other stuff would skyrocket. So I think we should have criminals who are serving minor jail time work on the n00b jobs instead. They would get paid like two dollars an hour and the money would go to their prisons, so that taxpayers wouldn't have to pay for their jails. Then we could build a large tall wall, with spiky stuff on top, and more spiky stuff on the bottom so it would hurt to jump down. Actually, the wall should be covered in spiky stuff. Then we should station armed guards along the boarders to "take care" of anyone trying to cross. There would be a few checkpoints on major roads where there would be like a drawbridge so nobody could cross unless they were approved. I would also deport everyone who was already here when they showed up. I wouldn't actually go out looking for them, but when someone found an illegal immigrant, then they would be sent away. Now, I have nothing against normal, hard-working immigrants who moved here legally. They work hard, get good grades, learn the language and the culture. However the illegal ones usually don't pay taxes, sponge off our welfare, don't bother to learn english, and participate in crime make it unfair to everyone else. First of all, the legal immigrants go through all the paperwork and pay a bunch of money. The illegal ones just climb over a fence and run. Seriously, they are breaking our laws--we shouldn't let them stay here. I strongly disagree of the idea of gradually giving citizenship to the illegal immigrants who are here. They broke the law, so why should they be rewarded for it. Some people might have spent years trying to get citizenship legally so it would really be unfair to them.
