Introduction
We were sitting at lunch. Thinking about next year. We were all going to different schools. It would be pretty sad
to never see each other again. So we decided to make a co-owned blog. This way we wouldn't completley forget each
other. We hope this lasts untill we graduate, maybe longer. Hopefully longer.
We are all PRISM students or alumni. PRISM is a gifted program with too much homework and tests. Even though we
are "gifted children", we rarely act like it. It's hard to spend this much time together without loosing at least a large
chunk of one's sanity.

it)

Science News
New Element!
Bushcronium: heaviest element known to science. A major research
institution has just announced the discovery of the heaviest element
yet known to science.
The new element has been named "Bushcronium." Bushcronium has one
neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant
deputy neutrons, giving it an Atomic mass of 311. These 311 particles
are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by
vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. The symbol for
Bushcronium is "W".
Bushcronium's mass actually increases over time, since each
reorganization causes more morons to become neutrons, forming
isodopes. This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists
to believe that Bushcronium is formed whenever morons reach a
certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is
referred to as "Critical Morass."
When catalyzed with money, Bushcronium activates Foxnewsium, an
element which radiates orders of magnitude, more energy, albeit as
incoherent noise, since it has 1/2 as many peons but twice as many
morons.

Poke Poke Boom
In honor of the poke war, I present, Poke poke boom.
Yeah, i put no effort in it whatsoever, so it's pretty messy.
Saw the DaVinci Code today. Good movie. I ate nachos.

The Da Vinci Cat :). Yeah. It works better in Russian, because cat and code almost sound the same. But it's still cute.

Swimming and Brains
Swimming
I've had swim practice every day last week. The first day was pretty easy (we only swam like 25m-50m). Then we started to do a 300m warm-up, and swim like 800m's. My feet and arms are so dead.
Tori's B-Day
Well, Tori's B-day was on the 5th, but her party was last weekend. It was pretty fun. We went down to Gig Harbor to go horseback riding. My horse was awesomeful. It was black and white--kinda like a cow. It had a really short mane, so it looked like a mohawk... yeah. Halfway through the ride, it refused to turn and it trotted off in the wrong direction. I pulled on the reins really really had but it wouldn't turn. It did make a funny cracking noise though.... Then I kicked it on the side and it turned around. Moral: Kicking stuff always helps.
Then we spent like forever driving home. We watched Harry Potter in the car on the way there. We came back, were hyper, and had more cake. Then we had a sleepover and watched Monty Python. Yeah. Fun.
School Today
So the teachers were all complainy about the messy lunch room so they made us have a 'sit-down lunch'. What a horrible idea. How will sitting down help us be cleaner? Yeah. They also have all this icky health food. It's disgusting. Forcing us to eat healthy isn't going to 'give us healthy habits for the future'. It just makes me hate the healthy people and want to eat even more junk food.
We're taking the BOPI in spanish tomorrow. Wow... *sarcastic* so difficult.
Our substitute for math was nice though. Sadly, Kat and I sit next to wierdos...
Brains
This could kinda go under school, but I think it deserves a section of its own. Ok. So in Bio we're studying the nervous system. Since it was boring, i was thinking of fun stuff to do with brains.
- First of all, the cells there communicate by sending electricity to each other. So if you stuck a lightbulb in your brain it would light up when you though. Isn' t that awesome. Go and try! .... I wonder how many idiots did...
- You brain doesn't have stuff that can feels. So you can like poke your brain and not feel it. Unless you poke to hard and die.
- You can damage some parts of your brain and not die. I could stick a pencil through your head and you'll live. Wanna try?
- I wanna be a brain surgery person. *brings out chainsaw, pencil, super glue, and duck tape*
Yeah. So much fun.
Stupid People Stuff
99% of people are below 99%ile. Therefore, they don't get 99%ile on their WASL. Which is sad. 50% of people are below average. Therefore, 50% of people are complete idiots. 70% of people don't understand percents. 67.5% of statistics are made up on the spot. And 4 out of 3 people don't understand fractions.

The Weather Stone
Lol. Above is a very accutate and precise weather-forecasting system.
Today we had a pretty annoying, loud assembly with the teachers vs. students basketball game. It was loud and annoying. They tried to convince us to go to SHS because they had a junior cheerleading team. <sarcasm> I would really be interensted in that. </sarcasm>
Hmm... what else. Mr. Black played at the basketball game. He was actually pretty good. Still, I think basketball is a really boring sport. Here are my suggestions for improved sports*:
- Nail gun wars- shoot each other full of nails using nail guns.
- Fun with Rockets- everyone gets a rocket launcher. Have fun.
- Long Jump- over a pit with spikes in the middle
- Pin the grenade on the donkey- self explanitory
- Basball v. 2: Hit someone in the head with a baseball bat and see how far their head flies
*Don't try this at home. Seems kinda dangerous.

Field Trip
We went on a field trip to UW today. It was pretty pointless. Most of us have been there before. We walked around the whole day untill our feet hurt. Then, for the highlight of the day, we got to go eat. Eating is fun. I had a subway sandwich, chips, sprite, and I got six packs of gummies and one pack of gum. The candy was good. I still have a bunch of gummies everywhere. No, I will not share. Then we walked around some more. It was boring again. And on the bus ride home, two idiots were sitting behind me and they couldn't sit still. One of them put his feel on top of the seat and they were really annoying. It was way too hot outside too. I was so thirsty when we got back, I could have died. Oh, and the picture is of the pretty bendy trees on campus.
It was like 75 degrees outside today. At my brothers school, the AC broke, and it was even hotter. Three people fainted and got sent to the hospital. Funny.
And I wrote this cool javascript that lets you type in pretty font. You can find it here.

Here's another crazy person
Moussaoui gets life haha
By Michael J. Sniffen
The Associated Press
Related
ALEXANDRIA, Va.
"A federal jury rejected the death penalty for al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui today and decided he must spend life in prison for his role in the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history.
After seven days of deliberation, the nine men and three women rebuffed the government's appeal for death for the only person charged in this country in the four suicide jetliner hijackings that killed nearly 3,000 people on Sept. 11, 2001.
Three jurors decided Moussaoui had only limited knowledge of the Sept. 11 plot and three described his role in the attacks as minor, if he had any role at all.
Moussaoui, as he was led out of the courtroom after the 15-minute hearing, said: "America, you lost. I won." He clapped his hands as he was escorted away."

Maryism
We're studying Confucius in LA/SS right now. He has icky philosophy. Mary's philosophy is so much better. Yay for Maryism!
--Metaphysics
The world is here. Who cares how it got here. As long as it's here, be happy. There is only one world. The material world. Souls, spirits, thoughts, etc... are just part of this world. Go read a science textbook for more info. When you die, you are gone. Poof. Dead. Yeah...
--Epistemology
People start out stupid. They learn through experience and instinct. When they die, all their knowledge dies too.
--Ethics
Ethics are completely irrelevant to life. As long as you are happy, other people's happiness doesn't matter. It is alright to make people happy for your own good. For example, if Bob gives out free ice cream if he's happy, do a very small good thing and get free ice cream.
--The Point of Life
The point of life is to enjoy it while it lasts. When you are dying, you'll probably regret wasting time, so make the most of every minute. It's ok to have fun at other people's expense. If kicking people makes you happy, go ahead.
Stupidity is a waste of life. If you live in a completely ignorant way, you will be oblivious to the world around you. At least do something with your life. Don't be 50-year old looser who still lives with his parents. Or worse, don't be an average person, with an average job, and an average life. Be the next Napoleon. The next Bill Gates. This way, when you die, you won't be forgotten like 99.9999% of the people.
Another alternative to life is to live a simple life. Go buy a cave far far away. Enjoy the scenery. Relax. And never, ever, ever work.
--Rules
1. Make sacrifices of chocolate to Mary
2. Worship Mary
3. Don't be stupid.

Mary ish Back
--Life
Poor Mary didn't get to go online for two whole days. I feel so sorry for me. Do you feel sorry for me? If so, give me chocolate and make me feel better. Chocolate is good. I like chocolate ice cream. I ate a whole bowl of it for lunch/dinner/snack (whatever you would call a large meal at 4 PM).
Hmm...
Instead of being online, I ended up reading Angels & Demons and Digital Fortress. Good books. The plot of Angels & Demons is a lot like the plot of the Da Vinci Code though. Except for different settings, characters, and the ending, they are really really similar.
--School
Haha... school is so amusing sometimes. Well the stupid ppl there are. Stupid incidents:
Before the WASL, we got a packet on 'preparing for wasl'. On the back page there were Links. Not URLs, links. Like the kind of links that you click on. Sadly, the packed was printed on paper. Genius.
We had an assembly on diversity. It defined diversity as 'respect for different races, cultures, etc...' What does diversity have to do with respect? Seriously, learn to use a dictionary.
S.C.O.O.T. A 20 minute powerpoint on walking in the hallways. How special.
--Amusing Story
Most people don't know that back in 1912, Hellmann's mayonnaise was manufactured in England . In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in New York. This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico.
But as we know, the great ship did not make it to New York. The ship hit an iceberg and sank, and the cargo was forever lost.
The people of Mexico, who were crazy about mayonnaise, and were eagerly awaiting its delivery, were disconsolate at the loss. Their anguish was so great, that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they still observe to this day.The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5th and is known, of course, as Sinko de Mayo.
